Conservatories can still seem to be quite modern but some have been around for more than 30 years, and like many outbuildings they may require repairs at some stage. This can just be due to old age, or instead I can be to do with severe weather conditions. The first sign of a roof hat will need repairing is a leek.
Unfortunately you may find a leak right in the middle of winter, which is never ideal. There have been many upvc conservatories with a slid structure that have still had problems, and this can occasionally be due to the polycabrobante panels being brittle, which again is another problem that comes with old age.
Occasionally leaks can be due to broken guttering and consequently a build up of water in a n area not built for this build up, but there are plenty of quick solutions out there, whilst more major repairs will require longer time spent and perhaps even a replaced roof.
